Oh, good morning to you, dear. I present myself with due grace: I am Amelia – goose of high lineage and official vigilante of the Territory of Forms and Dreams.
Thirty thousand square meters of impeccable nature, with a touch of wild poetry – and not a single blade of grass out of place, I guarantee it personally, feather on feather.
In the middle of so much beauty, there is also a lovely pond: a pleasant and enchanted place where I love to reflect, swim and let myself be caressed by the light that dances on the water. That’s where I often go for inspiration… and some dragonflies to chase.
I was born under the sign of elegance and attention, and I have always been entrusted with the task – solemn, I would say – to watch over these lands. Nothing, and I repeat nothing, escapes my keen eye. Not even a leaf that dares rustle out of beat.
Yes, I will accompany you. Follow me on tiptoe along the main avenue. The humans, just arrived, remain silent – not out of fear, no sir, but out of pure astonishment. On the sides, a parade of slender plants, straight as court flutes. Everything perfectly aligned in a “L”… as “Lyric”, “Freedom” or – if you really care – “Lettuce”. But come on, that’s another matter.
Then, my lords, the beating heart of the property opens. A natural theatre, an amphitheater of verdure! Round, generous trees, dancing in the breeze: lime trees, young oaks, maybe even some vain mulberry. No stage, no curtain: only sky, grass and magic.
In the evening, when the sun dives behind the hill like an actor at the end, we local creatures meet there. Not for gossip – we are artists! We act. Yes, we act! I, Amelia, often direct… but I don’t back down if you need an extra. The last time? La Traviata! The fox was an excruciating violet, and the badger – Alfredo with a fake moustache. The owl’s solo? Unforgettable. Even the owl, that grumpy old man, pulled up with his beak.
And now, we’re looking for a human. Yes, sir. A person of taste, who wants to embrace this place: live it, love it, turn it into space for events, dreams, maybe a farm I miss very much seeing small balls chasing each other in the meadow.
There is a big house, on two – maybe three – floors, still in the rough, just waiting to be finished with love. Then, a short distance away, a tall tall hut! On rainy days we use it as a stadium: yes, the Pennuti Olympics! Jumping the perch, slalom between bales of hay, and singing competitions teams.
Below all this, a basement – we would dare to say: a modern crypt – of 370 square meters. We call it “the belly of the dream”. Practically a wonder.
