The choice fell on classic bicycles with baskets since the plain that surrounds us must be savored slowly and so we pedal towards the village of Campodarsego admiring the beautiful detached houses of the neighbors also surrounded by low hedge borders that guarantee privacy.
In the center, in addition to finding the important services at hand, we stop with the idea of tasting some cured meats and tasting the wines of the area, but a visit to the Osterie Moderne allows us to spend the lunch time and not only enjoying the excellent proposals of the day and bringing excellent and tasty gastronomic souvenirs … luckily we have the baskets on the bikes.
We also learn about the interesting story of Speronella Dalesmanni and her son Jacopo also mentioned in the Divine Comedy.
After a bit of history, geography and excellent wine we are ready to get back on our bikes and while the sun slowly greets us on the horizon we go back to see the villa tinged with the red of the sunset that tonight will become part of your dreams and I hope of your life.
